Drew this as part of a back piece but the dummy never came in and got it, so I decided might as well paint it. It's a big painting for me at about 1' x 2'.
Another framing job I did myself. I'm refining my technique a bit and I think the next time I do one I might try to be a little more fancy with it.
I owe Andres Luna a big painting for some records and some other stuff he gave me so this one is going to him. The next few I'll put up for sale.

Before I got hired at SWC, actually before SWC was even a shop, I went to get a tattoo from Isaiah cuz I saw afew of his tattoos around town and thought they were pretty great. He gave me these which were included in an EP he did with Mr. Dibbs. Actually at that appointment we talked about the future, and I think that was the beginnings of what Staring Without Caring became.
That's how I remember it anyways.

I did this first portrait on my buddy Jerimiah Smith. An awesome skater and good dude all around.
I was stoked that it was of Cardiel. I tried my best to do it as close to the photo as possible, though I think the photo I took might be at a weird angle for the macro setting. I'm by no means a photo realistic tattooer but I want to get better at doing portraits, and doing portraits takes practice. I wish Tony Uno's site was working so I could link some awesome portraits. He was actually someone I asked advice from, along with Tim Beck, and my friend Iddy who works in Racine and does a lot of photo realism.
All in all i think it's pretty good for a first attempt.

I think I told ya'll that I've been playing bass in a new band lately. It's been over a year since I've played bass in a band, and I haven't played a show with a band since Dark Age in Tucson. So this is Noose's first show and it's gonna be a good one. If you like faster older sounding straight edge with catchier mosh parts thrown in you might like us.

Cheap throw away frames.
Been skating a lot and taking photos a lot. Playing bass in Noose now too. It's nice to have other hobbies that take my mind off of tattooing at times. They refresh my perspective on things. The horse tattoo was a fun one, lets hear it for pastie Irish kids!
